Our Approach: Minimal Data, Maximum Privacy
Easy China Trip is a static informational website. We designed it from the ground up to collect as little data as possible. Here is exactly what happens — and what doesn’t.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data.
- ✅ No user accounts or registration
- ✅ No contact forms or data submission
- ✅ No analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party trackers)
- ✅ No advertising networks
- ✅ No cookies
Local Storage
We use your browser’s localStorage to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode). This data:
- Is stored only on your device
- Is never sent to any server
- Contains no personal information
- Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings
Progressive Web App (PWA)
This site can be installed as a Progressive Web App for offline access. The PWA uses a service worker to cache static website files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) on your device. This means:
- Cached files are stored locally for offline reading
- No personal data is cached
- The service worker updates automatically when new content is published
- You can clear the cache by uninstalling the PWA or clearing your browser data
Feedback Email
We provide a feedback email link (hello@easychinatrip.com). If you choose to email us:
- Any information you include in your email is voluntarily provided by you
- We will only use your email to respond to your feedback
- We will not add your email to any mailing list
- We will not share your email with third parties
Third-Party Links
This site contains links to external websites and apps (e.g., Alipay, WeChat, Trip.com, eSIM providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any personal information.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
We are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) by design. Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, we do not require a legal basis for processing and have no data to provide, delete, or port upon request.
Children’s Privacy
This site does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data at all, this is inherently satisfied.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If we ever add data collection features in the future, we will update this policy and seek appropriate consent.
